The struggle between darkness and light has always been a source of fascination for me in Autumn. Darkness is cozy as you can curl up in front of a fire or wrap yourself in your favorite blanket, on the other hand, the dark marks the beginning of seasonal affective disorder for me and I crave light to function. Autumn Sunset illustrates the fading light on a 9x12 inch deep canvas painted with Golden heavy body acrylics.
