Is 20x24 inches and painted with heavy body acrylics on a deep 1.5 inch canvas. Was this psychedelic painting created on mushrooms? You bet it was, however, the concept was invented without the benefit of hallucinogens as the butterflies were sculpted on the canvas using modeling paste. I just added the mushrooms for effect later. This is one of my favorite older pieces dating all the way back to 2011. I like to think that my process has evolved as an artist since then and certainly my technical skills have improved exponentially, although it’s fun to reminisce on my art journey. This piece will transform your room into a vibrant, creative space!
