This artwork is special to me as it is my first time painting a self-portrait to commemorate my spinal surgery from 1995. I wanted to show that we are not our scars and who we are is much more and that our potential is beautiful. I used my favorite Golden heavy body acrylics including teal, orange and cadmium red medium on this 11x14 inch gallery wrap canvas.
